A few weeks ago we got book clubs and book club books. We had to make a video of what we thought of the book. We had to tell our jottings, predictions, and inferences.
Ms.Murray gave us options of famous explorers, all of them sailed for either France, England, or Spain. She told us to become experts on this famous explorer, she also gave us a challenge. Our Challenge was to find out if our famous explorer was a conquistador. We made this project with Narrable which is a sight where you can upload pictures and audios with that picture. When you click on a picture the audio will start talking, be prepared for some crazy facts and explorers!
My favorite part of Father's day was... when he was guessing his tie. I loved seeing how many guesses he had to till he could find my tie. He got it right on the first guess!!
People should write persuasive essays. They can help get all your thoughts out. If you agree or disagree with a rule or topic that would be the kind of writing you would see. People write these because they want to make people agree with them. These essays might even inspire people with new rules or ideas for our world today. These essays include their opinion; make a statement, to persuade somebody, or to start a debate. These essays are always helpful because if you wanted to go somewhere or do something, you can read a persuasive essay to help decide.
Our teacher asked if we could go back and revise our small moment piece with new eyes. To revise with AAAWWUBBIS eyes and compound sentences. I revised my small moment piece and I found some mistakes in this piece. My biggest mistake was dialogue rules and run on sentences. I looked at this piece with revising eyes and I found quite the amount of mistakes. I found sentences with overuse of commas. Get this I even forgot some dialogue tags and quotations. Can you believe that, that shows me that I clearly didn’t revise this very well when I was publishing earlier in the year.
